With work done on Montanon Ridge, Quad and Scorpion Canyon Trails
This was a Channel Islands Trip to Santa Cruz Island - Scorpion Ranch
Four SMMTC trail crew maintenance volunteers stayed 4 beautiful days on Santa Cruz Island from April 13-16, 2010. We spent a great deal of time weed whipping around the campground and down the Scorpion Canyon Loop trail. We installed steps and water diversions, widened and stabilized the Montanon Ridge trail. We also established a "new" trail across the ridge on the Quad trail. The last day was spent weed whipping a social trail to a viewpoint overlooking Scorpion Rocks.
