Sandstone Peak Trail
NPS - Circle X Ranch
(working towards Chamberlain Trail in Point Mugu State Park)

It was a beautiful day. Six volunteers (including State Parks' Dale Skinner) cleared the trail up to Sandstone Peak and beyond for the Gator which hauled our tools and packs. We had hoped to make it onto the Chamberlain Trail, but much lopping and brushing was needed to make way for the Gator. We ended about a quarter mile shy of the State/National Park boundary. It was a long day, but we all had a great time. We will return soon to finish the rest.
