Santa Ynez Trail

Topanga State Park

This was a joint project with the Sierra Club Task Force

Overnight rains resulted in a slippery/muddy fire road to the Rogers Road trailhead, so Plan B was initiated. Approximately 13 volunteers from the SMMTC and Sierra Club's Santa Monica Mountains Task Force Trail Crew set off to work on the Upper Santa Ynez trail. It became a beautiful day and much good work was performed in clearing brush and grading the trail tread. No tricks but lots of treats (many deer in morning meadow).
