Winnetka Trail

Topanga State Park

This was a joint project with the Sierra Club Task Force

The SMMTC Trail crew, led by Casey Gonzalez, teamed with the Sierra Club Task Force to open up the Winnetka Trail. The SMMTC Crew was augmented by 12 or so Channel Island University (CIU) students who needed service hours for their Environmental Sciences course. We thank their instructor for the help in keeping our trails in good shape. The Task Force started work at the north trailhead and the SMMTC Crew hiked to dirt Mulholland and worked back. We completed clearing the entire 0.8 mile trail.
