Topanga State Park
This was a joint project with the Sierra Club Task Force
On a lovely day in Topanga State Park we had 30 volunteers work on the Garapito Trail. After meeting at Trippet Ranch, shuttling up the fireroad, and hiking to the trailhead, we began a very successful day of clearing brush with loppers and saws. We also groomed the trail and helped maintain a safe tread. With such a large group of volunteers we managed to clear a large section of the trail. A special thanks go to Dale Skinner (California State Parks) for helping us with transporting the tools and other essential logistics.
