On Wednesday May 5th three crew leaders walked the trail and selected four tasks to be performed by Troop 730 scouts. These tasks were as follows: 1) At mile 1.6 from the Sycamore Canyon trail head repair the stream crossing by ramping one side of the stream approach and building steps on the other side. 2) At mile 0.75 widen the trail by breaking two large boulders at the side of the trail away from the stream bank. 3) At the quarry stairs sweep the trail of loose rocks both up the steps and down the trail on the other side. Widen the trail as appropriate heading back to the trail head. 4) At three designated locations remove slough from the trail to widen the trail and prevent slippage. Three crew leaders worked 3 hours each for a total of 9 hours of work
